SLTI takes pride in offering language tests that are accessible to diverse populations; this includes test takers who may require accommodations due to disabilities, health-related needs, or other identified circumstances.
We have developed our test accommodation practices in accordance with ADA regulations to make our test materials more accessible to people with disabilities. We are continually improving our test administration practices, capabilities to offer test materials, and accommodations to better meet the needs of all our test takers.
For the tests that we develop, we work to ensure the highest possible levels of accessibility given the language construct being tested, and many of our tests can be further adapted for test takers who are deaf or hard of hearing (HoH), or have difficultly seeing or speaking.
For the tests that we administer, special arrangements can be made to allow for extra time or breaks for test takers with specific learning or health-related needs, for example infant feeding.
For more information about our accommodation guidelines, or to request accommodations for an upcoming test, please contact us at http://bit.ly/BerlitzTestingAccommodations.
